BMW i9 - Rumor has it that the BMW i9 has been given the green light for production in 2016! The engine is expected to be a modular 3.0-liter six-cylinder that will propel the carbon fiber tub from 0-62 in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 155 miles-per-hour! As BMW aggressively attacks the electric and electric-hybrid market, it will be interesting to see the impact it will have on Tesla in the future.

2015 Dodge Charger R/T - New for 2015, the Charger offers softer body lines with more curves that may not be noticeable at first glance. But, virtually every panel is new for 2015 including a redesigned interior that continues to have the look-and-feel of a higher priced luxury sedan. What's also new is the additional of the Torque-Flight eight-speed automatic transmission, that matted to the 5.7-liter V8 that produces 370 horsepower, can still achieve miles-per-gallon in the high 20's while cruising on the highway. The transmission always seem to be in the optimal gear, only revving at 1500 RPM's at 85 -- So I'm told :). No doubt, all the hoopla over the "Hellcat" Charger will put this very capable big sedan in the background like a straight A brother with a Hollywood sibling. As a Challenger fan, it's hard to overlook the Charger R/T as the one that got away after delivery.

Aston Martin Vulcan - Recently unveiled in Geneva, Aston Martin is a company known for the perfect blend of sexy styling, ultra-luxurious interiors along with power and superior handling. The Vulcan has flowing body lines, but is built merely for speed on the racetrack. No doubt a product of the Factory Aston Martin race team.

Bentley EXO 10 Speed Sports 6 Concept - At first glance, it is unmistakably a Bentley, with looks like the Continental GT, only sportier and more fit. A lineage that was alway known for racing and speed, this car reaches for the future while drawing on the past. We recently witnessed the unveiling of the Mercedes Benz AMG GT, and Bentley is no-doubt looking to steal some of that thunder.
2017 Land Rover Evoque Convertible - I recently noticed a Land Rover Defender convertible at a classic car auction, and was instantly attracted to how cool it was. That said, it's hard to forget the recent failure of the Nissan Murano Cabriolet that I am confident many still sit on dealers lots getting rinsed down weekly!

Kia continues to push the edge for new designs, so adding a Optima front clip to the Hyundai 140 was a very creative study, the "Sport Space" Most likely, the buyers in America will never see this car, but perhaps it could be a VW Jetta Wagon TDi fighter?

Hummer Concept - With the recent success of the Jeep brand, now under the ownership of Fiat, GM is reversing the statements of CEO Mary Barra who stated in Detroit, "We do not miss any of the brands we discontinued". Well, back in the parts bin, GM has the Colorado / Canyon chassis that could easily be transformed into what else. A Hummer!. Back in 2008, before the demise of the brand, Hummer had debuted a concept that was destined to be the H4. We will keep you informed…..

VW Cross Blue Coupe' - To describe the Cross Blue in one word -- Big! At 192.5 inches in length, 66.1 inches high and 79.3 inches wide, it is relatively big in the crossover world. Powered by a turbocharged direct-injection VR6 engine which is rated at 295 horsepower that is married to a 56 horsepower electric motor in the front, and 114-horse electric in the rear with both fed by lithium-ion batteries featuring plug-in capability. With a system rated at 415 horsepower, and a maximum twist of 516 lb-ft. give this big beast some grunt to match the bulk.

McLaren has already confirmed that the 675LT will be so called because of its Long Tail shape, to improve aerodynamics and handling; plus the fact that the 3.8-liter V8 engine powering it will deliver 675PS or 666bhp. That means that only the company's flagship hypercar, the hybrid P1, is more potent. And every example of that particular car has already been accounted for. All 375 have been pre-sold and McLaren will not be building any more.

2015 Dodge Challenger "Skat Pak" - First let me start by saying I seldom fall in love with the cars that I test, but the 2015 Challenger has tugged on my have to have string! Our test car was finished in Sublime Pearl Metallic, making it look like one of your favorite Hot Wheels from the 70's. Once inside, touch the starter button and listen to the roar of a beastly 484 pony's under the hood. Connect that to the eight-speed automatic transmission, and the only way the back wheels stop spinning is with the assist of traction control. What's surprising is how well the car handles and brakes, a characteristic not often associated with a muscle machine. Perhaps the biggest surprise os the price -- Just over $40,000! Watch as Take Two TV and The Sunday Drive soon take delivery of a new Challenger!

Toyota I-Road - Toyota has been showing off its concept car (kinda car) at auto shows throughout the country. What the heck is it? Well, it's 92" long, about 60" high and 38" wide -- Slice a Smart Car in half and you have the basic dimensions. Electric powered and easy to steer and there's even a seat in the rear for a passenger! If your wondering why? Congested cities where traffic and space are an issue. Think of the New York hustle-and-bustle, along with parking all of those big cars that only move one-or-two people. Compact, zero emissions, etc.. Take a look at the future in the Toyota IRoad.

Ferrari F80 Supercar Concept -Throughout history, Ferrari has been known for legendary anniversary cars, and the F80 concept is no exception. The whole concept begins with paper sketches. then moves quickly into 3D rendering software, and finally into a clay model. A unique hybrid system using a twin-turbo charged V8 paired with a KERS system develops 1,200 horsepower! The proposed weight is claimed to be only 1.763 pounds, so given the power-to-weight ratio could propel the F80 from 0-60 in 2.2 seconds and a top speed of 310 miles-per-hour!

2016 Acura NSX - If you follow Take Two TV's blog, I'm confident you have seen a photo of the Acura NSX concept -- So, at last, here is the production version that we can run to our dealer and take home to admire in the garage. As with the first generation NSX, handling and braking will be amazing and almost effortless. Power comes from a V6 engine and three electric motors driving all four wheels, giving over 550 horsepower. Beautiful styling, somewhat copycat of the McLaren 650, and priced at $150,000.00. My opinion -- For Acura to truly become a luxury player, a V8 needs to be an option! Just my opinion.

McLaren - What do you think?
